Food was good. Atmosphere was good. Would go again. Waiter didn’t know the menu, may have been new, and looked like he doubles as a hit man after hours. Still tipped him well.

This place is just amazing! Every bite was delicious. You can't match the flavors. Absolutely recommended!!!

two days ago was the first time we visited this excellent restaurant. But It is no doubt not the last. We enjoyed the evening very much with the courteous service, with the first-rate cooking and fine drinks and with the decent cost. We will no doubt return there soon.

We went for a family dinner and had a wonderful experience. The host staff was very accommodating. We ordered several different dishes as well as the sultans plate. Everyone enjoyed there meals. The kabobs were delicious! My daughter said this was her favorite meal in recent memory. My son found the pizza a bit too goopie but maybe don't order pizza from a ethnic restaurant!Very nice, I would recommend.

Last night, at one of my best friends Birthday party at Sofra Turkish Restaurant & Wine Cellar, I had one of the best vegan dishes ever. Done by the Turkish Chef with all those exotic spices. Thanks Sofra .

One of my favourite places in yeg. The atmosphere is lively the décoré is vintage. You can smell the fresh cooked pita the moment you walk in. It is one of the best places in Edmonton to get lamb. Their vegetarian options are amazing ! However, the service is hit and miss there . We have had amazing service and terrible service.

However I am vegetarian and the veggie sandwich was very dry and kind of gross as it only had giant roasted peppers, onion and zucchini. I would suggest letting someone make their own or just having a more classic.. Never in my life have I ever had FOOD THIS AMAZING! When I first came here I realized my favourite food is Turkish. I have to admit I ended up coming back the next evening! Amazing food. Amazing service by Trevor. They didn't have seating in the dining area so we were in the cellar where they have a different menu, Tapas style. Very good food. There is a book with divan style floor seating. It was a good experience.

This place is my preferred one. I go to a lot of restaurants but to this one I constantly return again and again. The stuff is very helpful and the cuisine they offer is so flavorful. I never decline to have a nice meal in this place. Highly recommended.

This place is always fantastic. Everything is so fresh, lovingly made. The pita is fantastic, and the service always spot on.

First let me say the food is delicious. The problem is their lack of attention to public health recommendations in dealing with covid. The entrance way is small and there is one small bottle of hand cleanser on a table. I went in to pick up my take out order wearing a mask. The maître de was not wearing one. While there 6 other people crowded in to the entrance, none wearing masks or attempting social distancing. There should be someone outside lining people up to come in small bubble groups and when they are seated, the next small group could come in. I was appalled at the egocentric ignorance of the guests crowding in and disappointed the the Sofra staff was making no attempt to follow guidelines.

Two couples had supper there and we all were extremely happy with our meals - one had the duck, two had the lamb and I had the Ahi tuna, and I would order it again without hesitation! In fact we all would eat there again! Our server (Amber?) was very knowledgeable, and helped with our meal choices by giving very good descriptions, including flavors. Three of us had the baklava and were delighted with it. Would highly recommend+

This restaurant is my new favourite restaurant in Edmonton. This is a gem. The food is so fresh and tastes absolutely AMAZING. You can tell the chef takes pride in his work. I ordered the sea bass and it was the best sea bass I have ever had, cooked to perfection. After my meal, the chef came to talk to us at our table to ask how everything was. Such a nice man. I can’t rave enough about how great this restaurant is.

The best most flavourful food I have had in my life. It is pricey I won't lie BUT the portions are large and so worth it! The pita and dip is so fresh. they also make their pita fresh right there right in front of you. Turkish food is my new favorite! A hidden gem in Edmonton.

I had the Helim Peyniri - Grilled eggplant wrapped halloumi cheese, Izgara, Somon - Grilled Chinook salmon topped with an orange saffron butter, Sutlu Irmik - Dense semolina cake with coconut, pistachio, & orange peel. Topped with whip cream and pomegranate sauce. This is a great way to try an assortment of everything.

After the reviews and comments, I felt confident that we were in for a good night of Turkish fair. The pita and hummus offered a good sharing portion and the pita was thin and crispy with sesame seeds. The Hummus was well seasoned and tasty. The shrimp appetizer was simply, 4 prawns on a sliver of tomato-charred and well seasoned, but very small. I ordered the spinach salad. It was more or less a bag of spinach salad, with maybe a table spoon of nuts in it and the garliciest dressing I have ever eaten. It is the day after, and I can still taste the garlic on my breath. The Salad, Hummus and pita appetizer, one glass on red wine, some olives, and four pieces of shrimp came close to about $75.00.I have eaten better meals for a quarter of the price-sadly. While the service was pleasant, I do not plan to return.

My husband and I and our two adult kids had a wonderful time at Sofra’s this past week! First time there. We love trying something new! The food was absolutely delicious and the service was exceptional! Will definitely be back! 👍🏻😊

This is by far the best restaurant I have been to in Edmonton. Amazing food and amazing staff. I recommend the Duck. It was fantastic.

Food is great. Baklava melts in your mouth. Service is a little slow but the friendly attitude of everyone makes up for it. Parking can be expensive nearby. But you can find something just a few blocks away. Martinis are well made.

Great service, super cozy restaurant and delicious food. The grape leaves were a must order. The hummus and date dip was super delicious and the chicken skewers I ordered were full of great flavor and tender. Oh and cannot forget the baclava to finish everything off, with honey and pistachios it was a perfect end treat.

I've never had real Turkish food and was looking forward to trying this place. The portions are generous, so you won't leave this place hungry. The flavors are excellent and the prices are reasonable. Close to Rogers place too so great before an event there.

The food is incredible. The Ardana (? Unsure of spelling) was juicy and flavourful, with a beautiful spiciness to it. The atmosphere is utterly charming and lends itself well to dinners between friends, with a comfort to it and the service was absolutely beyond reproach. I will definitely return

Heard only good reviews about this place. Finally decided to visit. Drove there with my daughter from south side and turned around empty handed. The server said they don’t serve customers with children.
